These images are what I believe to be part of my ‘best of’ from this year’s modules. They show a range of subject matter, different styles and techniques I have created and developed throughout each project. I have enjoyed creating each photograph and would like to continue my fine art approach to my work when stitching into photographs and creating various other mixed medias. 

One of my most recent projects was based on discovering my family history, then combining and sequencing  a range of old and new photographs together to make a narrative of my family tree, then hand embroidering flowers and other natural elements into the images, to create somewhat of a theme of growth and delicacy. I have particularly enjoyed this project due to the personal aspect of finding out about my distant family members, then intricately stitching designs into each image, giving them life and overall creating a very unique project.
